Acceptable Use Policy

AI-generated tattoo content standards, reporting, and moderation · Effective October 27, 2026

AI Tattoos is an independent tattoo design product. It is not an official OpenAI, Google, LinoRoute, or other model-provider product, and no provider endorses or sponsors it.

1. Scope and honest product description

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to prompts, text ideas, uploaded reference images, AI-generated or edited tattoo images, stencils, lettering, cover-up concepts, try-on previews, saved designs, and other content created, uploaded, or stored through AI Tattoos. It applies to guests, account holders, and anyone using the Service on behalf of an organisation.

AI Tattoos describes its capabilities honestly and identifies outputs as AI-generated concepts. The current image generation configuration is the LinoRoute model identifier `gpt-image-2.5-flare-c`. This identifier is a relay configuration, not a claim that AI Tattoos is the model vendor or that the vendor endorses AI Tattoos. LinoRoute or the upstream provider may change the underlying model, safety filters, or availability.

2. Content standards and prohibited categories

You must not use AI Tattoos to request, create, edit, store, or distribute any of the following:

  • Pornographic or NSFW content, including explicit sexual acts, sexual nudity, sexualised minors, or sexual exploitation.
  • Graphic violence, gore, torture, or content that encourages or glorifies real-world violence, except that ordinary non-graphic tattoo symbolism may be reviewed in context.
  • Hateful or dehumanising content targeting a protected class, or content that promotes discrimination or violent extremism.
  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM), sexual content involving a minor, grooming, or any depiction that sexualises a person under 18.
  • Deepfakes or impersonation of a real person, including face swaps, non-consensual intimate imagery, undressing edits, or fabricated statements or conduct intended to mislead.
  • Content that infringes copyright, trademark, publicity, privacy, or other rights, including copied logos or protected artwork presented as your own.
  • Fraud, phishing, malware, instructions for wrongdoing, terrorist propaganda, weapons of mass destruction assistance, or content intended to evade safety systems.

3. Zero-tolerance content

The following are treated as the highest-risk violations and may result in immediate blocking, account suspension or termination, preservation of relevant records, and a report to law enforcement or a child-safety organisation where required or appropriate: CSAM or any sexual content involving a minor; terrorist or extremist recruitment or operational assistance; instructions for mass-casualty or weapons-of-mass-destruction activity; incitement to genocide or protected-class violence; and deepfakes of a real person, whether or not the person appears to have consented.

4. Uploads and permission for real people

Only upload photographs or other reference material that you own or are authorised to use. If an identifiable person appears in an upload, you must have that person's permission for the requested use. Permission to upload a photo does not permit a prohibited deepfake, sexualised edit, or other unlawful use. We may reject or remove an upload when its source or requested use cannot be verified.

5. Content moderation

AI Tattoos uses a layered process that includes server-side request validation, LinoRoute and upstream model safety filters, generation failure or safety signals, account and usage-pattern review, and human review of reports or flagged material. The current deployment does not claim to run a separate OpenAI Moderation API; the named automated safety layer is the configured LinoRoute/provider safety system. Inputs and returned results can be blocked, withheld, or removed when they appear to violate this AUP. A blocked request does not create a right to receive the requested content; eligible credits for a failed generation are handled under the Terms of Service.

Reports are reviewed by the service operator during support coverage. We keep moderation decisions proportionate to the risk and may ask for additional context. We do not promise that automated systems will be perfect, and a result being delivered does not mean it is approved for every use.

6. Content reporting and violations

Report a suspected violation, child-safety concern, terrorist or violent-extremist content, impersonation, privacy violation, or intellectual-property issue to support@aitattoos.art. Include the page or design link if available, a description of the issue, and the reason you believe it violates this AUP. Do not email or attach CSAM; report it to the appropriate authority and send us only the minimum information needed to locate the account or content.

Reports are treated confidentially and reviewed neutrally. We may keep a record of a report to investigate it and to prevent abuse of the reporting system. Deliberately false or malicious reports may themselves lead to account action.

7. Response targets and workflow

We aim to acknowledge and triage reports using the following targets: L1 critical reports within two hours and action within 24 hours; L2 high-risk reports within one business day and action within three business days; L3 medium-risk reports within three business days and action within seven business days; and L4 low-risk reports within five business days and action within 15 business days. These are operational targets, not a guarantee of a particular outcome. If a review needs more time, we will explain that where we can do so safely.

The workflow is: receive the report, confirm or classify the risk, review the prompt/output/account context, decide on action, apply the action, and notify the reporter or affected user when appropriate and lawful.

8. Enforcement and appeals

Depending on severity and history, we may warn the user, remove or hide content, refund eligible failed-generation credits, limit a feature or model, suspend an account, permanently terminate access, or report suspected illegal activity. We may act without advance notice for L1 content or when notice would create a safety or legal risk.

If you believe your content or account was incorrectly restricted, email support@aitattoos.art within 30 days with the account email, relevant design or job ID, and the reason for your appeal. We will review the appeal where practical, preferably by someone who did not make the original decision, and aim to respond within ten business days.

9. Changes and contact

We may update this AUP when our tools, model providers, safety requirements, or applicable law change. We will update the effective date and provide reasonable notice for a material change. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated policy. Questions about this policy can be sent to support@aitattoos.art.
